Syrup Hydrometer (not sap) testing: Scott Weikert, Penn State Extension rep., will test your syrup hydrometer to make sure you are finishing your syrup at the proper density. This is presented courtesy of the NW Maple Syrup Producers Association and PA Maple Syrup Producers Council
Dealers: Dealers will be available with supplies for you to purchase for your up-coming season.
Sell or Swap Table: Bring your maple item you no longer want or need to sell or trade at the swap table.
Northwest Maple Ambassador Contest. Currently NW PA Maple Association does not have a Maple Ambassador. If you know of a girl or boy between the age of 16 to 21 interested in being our Northwest Maple Ambassador, please contact Haleigh Coryea at (724) 813-0394 or email Coryeamapleproducts@gmail.com by January 15, 2023
Lunch will include chicken and biscuits with a maple dessert.
Pre-register/post marked before Jan. 15, 2023: Cost of meeting and luncheon is $16 per member of NW PA Maple Assoc. or farm member who assists you making maple syrup. Non-members are more than welcome to attend. Non-members and registration after January 15th is $20 per person
Dues: Annual dues are $30 per farm.
Be sure to pass this invitation on to your neighbors and friends that are interested in making maple syrup.
