Howles Maple Farm is a fifth generation maple farm with three active generations. The
sugarhouse is located on Patterson Road in Guys Mills, but the hard work all begins in the
sugarbush encompassing 250 acres and over 100 miles of tubing. In 2023, with our new trees
tapped, we will have 15,000 taps in our total operation. The sap is harvested and transported to the sugarhouse using our two sap haulers. Between the two haulers, they will bring in 450,000 gallons of sap which will in turn make 6,000 gallons of syrup in 2022 if we have a good season.

New in 2022 at the Howles Sugarhouse is a 4×16 CDL oil fired evaporator and 6200  GPH Reverse Osmosis.
